By default, this installs per user. On Windows 7 and above, if group policies permit, this default permits a user with limited privileges to install the software for just the user, without affecting the whole system or any other users, and that same user can apply any future updates. These have been updated with the release of version 8.0 to take advantage of the new option to show the LOS as a letter (A, B, C, ...) instead of a number (and to implement a minor correction to the formula). The formulas giving emissions in g/hr or kg/hr depend on the through volume, so your .Dgm file must have the arterial volumes entered. Note that the results of these formulas give the consumption & emissions only for the through movement — the movement in the trip logs — and they are accurate only to the extent that your trip logs are a representative sample of that movement's hourly volume. For example, if your trip logs tend to sample only the first vehicle in the queue, then these formulas will give biased results accordingly, and you'll want to take that into consideration when interpreting the results. Note on Reinstalling: If you're downloading and installing again to fix the error in the NOx emissions error prior to 2011/12/23, then be sure to first remove the previously installed set of user-defined columns related to the CMEM emissions. The set starts with the (probably hidden) column "AIMS" and ends with the (possibly hidden) column "CMEM_VC4_FC".

OCTA CSPI v2.URC | 0.005 | (Updated 2013/11/20) A set of user-defined columns for the Travel Time & Delay Report to give the Corridor Synchronization Performance Index (CSPI) from the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA), created and donated by Jonathan Yee, DKS Associates (now with Iteris, Inc.), Santa Ana, CA (and now of , with assistance and editing from me, based on a specification provided by Ron Keith of OCTA in the user's forum here and here.
These formulas were updated 2013/11/20 based on a phone conversation with Ron Keith, Jonathan Yee, Rock Miller, and Greg Bullock. The speed score uses a "linearized" scale in the sense that the lowest score is 7.5, instead of 8, so that the entire set of (speed,score) pairs are co-linear (i.e., they all fall on a single, straight line). Also, the averaging policy now reflects Rock Miller's preference to calculate the CSPI score for each run, then average the scores together. Previously, the policy computed the average stops, speeds, etc. of all runs, then calculated the CSPI score based on those averages. A topic in user's forum discusses some of the implications. You'll need at least ver. 8.0.0.71 or ver. 9.0.0.9 or above to get correct results for the CSPI in the details tables, as those versions fix a bug that could corrupt the results for an individual trip log depending on what type of averaging option is specified for a user-defined column. To install these new columns in ver. 8.0, use View: Preferences: Layout: T T & D Report: Report Columns, then right-click on the list of columns and choose "Merge user-defined columns...." There are some momentary pauses within the slide transitions, and there are some indefinite pauses once the transitions have finished. To proceed after the indefinite pauses, you'll need to click the space bar or the right-arrow key, but first you'll want to wait a few seconds to make sure it's not just sitting at a momentary pause — otherwise, you'll jump to the next slide before the current one has finished playing. To view the slideshow, you may need to install OpenOffice.org. As I understand, versions of Powerpoint as of 2010 are able to read ODF documents — the Open Document Format. But if you don't have a new enough version of Powerpoint, you can view this by installing and using OpenOffice.org. |
